		<description>This is a fantastic idea. I am always keen to know where to get a better beer. 

I quick check online told me that &#039;Tied houses&#039; are illegal in Canada. Is this really the case? Do the deals with the brewers mean they get cheaper beer or actually forbid them to sell anything not made by that brewer? Or some incentive scheme inbetween? 

Whatever the finer points are, I am still glad to have a list of pubs that support locals and independents.</description>
